Purchasing A Puppy
The Process:
Before you email us
looking for a pug, you should know the following:
-- We highly recommend
that if you want a pet Pug to love, that you consider a
RESCUE PUG. Please visit the Rescue link on our site!
-- We do not keep
waiting lists since the wait can be long and unfair to you, with
the exception of "show prospect" Pugs because these
people expect a longer wait.
-- Our "show
prospect" Pugs are available only to those homes that guarantee
that the dog will be shown to at least ONE CKC TITLE. We place
"show prospects" on CO-OWNERSHIPS ONLY.

We have all of our
breeding dogs screened for Hip Dysplasia, and Luxating Patella. Our
Pugs are also clear of Demodectic Mange, and there have been no known
cases of Pug Dog Encephalitis in our bloodlines that we are aware of.
We are happy to openly discuss the results of all the testing and
research we have done with our breeding stock.
While it is true that
Pugs are great with children, it has been our professional experience
that our Pugs are happiest in homes where the family members are
older and more mature, therefore it is extremely rare that one of our
Pugs may be placed into a home where there are family members under
the age of 6 years.
We do not ship our
puppies so please be prepared to pick your puppy up in person. |
-- We only place our
Pugs in homes with FULLY-FENCED YARDS and attempt to
come and meet you in your home prior to purchase
-- All our pet Pugs are
placed on CKC NON-BREEDING AGREEMENTS and must be altered as
designated in the individual Purchase Agreement.
-- We provide all the
necessary documentation with your new pug. This includes:
